Who operates this website
This website is operated under the Leads for Locals programme. Leads for Locals is the operator identified in this policy.
The registered legal entity and ABN must be confirmed before online requests are opened.
What the form does
Online requests are not currently sent. A submitted form remains in this browser tab’s session storage and is not passed to a tradesperson. Nobody will contact you about it. Closing the browser tab ends that session; you can also clear the website’s browser data.
When online requests are opened, the form asks for the details needed to understand the job and contact the customer. Please do not include identification documents, payment-card details or unrelated sensitive information in a job description.
Who receives a request
For an opened form, details are passed to one local tradesperson who carries out the work and may contact you about the job. Contractors pay us for requests. Their own privacy policy applies to the information they receive and handle. The recipient and actual operating arrangements must be confirmed before the form is connected.
Information used with an opened form
The request record may include the page and campaign tags that brought you here, referrer, submission time, elapsed form time, browser user agent, the consent sentence and its version. These help assess enquiries, reduce spam and keep consent evidence. Access is limited to people and providers needed to handle the request.
If you do not provide the required job and contact details, an opened form cannot assess or pass on the request. Optional email is not required. You may request access or correction through the privacy contact once online collection is opened.
Browser storage, analytics and Google Maps
This site uses session storage for a selected small-job list, first-visit campaign information and an unsent form record. It is confined to the browser session.
On our domain, Google Analytics 4 measures visits and page interactions, loaded through Google Tag Manager. It uses analytics cookies and may process technical information outside Australia, including your device, browser and pages viewed. We do not send enquiry fields to these services. Advertising storage and advertising personalisation are disabled. You can block cookies in your browser or use Google’s Analytics opt-out add-on.
The service-area map loads only when you choose to open it. Loading the map or following a Google Maps link connects to Google, which may receive technical information such as your IP address and use its own cookies. Google’s privacy policy applies. Google may handle information outside Australia.
Security, retention and overseas processing
Before online collection is opened, the operator must confirm secure handling, access controls, retention, deletion and any overseas service-provider arrangements. The current unsent form does not send a request to those providers. The website host may process ordinary technical request logs under its own policies.
For an opened request, information should be kept only as needed to handle the enquiry and associated legal obligations. Details of actual processors and overseas locations must be recorded before online collection starts.
Access, correction and complaints
A verified privacy email must be provided before online requests are opened. The current form does not transmit your details.
Raise a concern with the operator first. Australian privacy information and complaint procedures are available from the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
